Signs in Urban Anti-sexualism Harassment Graffities: Semiotic Analysis

In this study, the researcher focuses mainly on analysis of visual and verbal signs how meaning semiotic is realized in graffities. This study based library research uses descriptive-qualitative method to analyze data. The data for ten urban anti-sexualism harassment graffities, collected by downloading images from websites Pinterest Google. Graffiti a form communication that mostly consist writings drawings have been made public surfaces, walls. theory was used Triadic Model proposed Charles Sanders Peirce, whereas Dyer signs. revealed indicate character movement graffiti emotions. support highlighting some aspects convey information about people should be more concerned anti-sexual issues occur life. addition, also shows meaningful events are created relationship between contained each graffiti.
